Amy Xu is Senior Counsel at the Trial Impact Project, where she drives the organization’s high-impact litigation program by developing and leading a docket of trial-focused public interest cases. Amy partners with all of the organization's case teams to investigate and bring impact cases against corporate and government actors. Prior to joining the Trial Impact Project, Amy practiced at Rosen, Bien, Galvan & Grunfeld, LLP, a plaintiffs' side civil rights firm, and as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. Amy is a former clerk to Judge Dale A. Drozd of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of California and a 2022 California Lawyer Attorney of the Year (CLAY) award winner. She is a member of the Board of Governors for the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association and serves on the Merit Selection Panel for the Central District of California, where she assists in evaluating and recommending applicants for appointment to the position of United States Magistrate Judge.
