Ashley is a Senior Attorney with substantial litigation experience and a desire to make the law work for the public good. Her practice focuses on investigating and litigating cases concerning unjust practices and conduct that affect marginalized communities. Before joining SJLF, Ashley litigated complex business disputes for plaintiffs and defendants at Hueston Hennigan LLP. She also represented Freedom For Immigrants in a high-profile First Amendment case in which the team obtained an injunction against ICE that restored a critical hotline for persons in immigration detention. Ashley applies the written and oral advocacy skills she honed in private practice to SJLF's docket of impact cases to empower our clients and challenge the systems and entities that harm them.
